Backyard Hotel is nestled in Thamel, within walking distance from Kathmandu Durbar Square and a 5-minute walk from Garden of Dreams. It features a rooftop garden, free Wi-Fi in public areas and elegant rooms with wooden flooring.
It is a 25-minute drive from Tribhuvan International Airport to the hotel.
Rooms are simply furnished and equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. They have large bathrooms with a shower and 24-hour hot and cold water. Free locals calls and bottled water are provided.

Check-in from 14:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 12:00 Noon.
Reception Open: 24 Hours
Age: No age restriction for check-in.
The guests should provide a passport while Check-In.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation: The guest can cancel free of charge until 3 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 3 days of arrival.
No-Show: Same as a cancellation fee.
4. Payment Policy: Guests should settle bills 1 day before check-out.
Cash or Credit/debit card is accepted with a Bank surcharge of 4 % on top.
(Accepted Card: AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, Mastro Discover, Dinner Club International, JCB, Unionpay, SCT)

Child policies
Children over 5 are welcome.
Children 6 and above are considered adults at this property.

9. Pets are not allowed. Sometimes we will have a house pet (Lasha Apso) named Yeti.
10. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the room. There are designated are for smoking on the balconies, or on the rooftop.

11. Parking: Pay Parking is available next to our hotel. Reservation Needed.
12: Airport Shuttle:
Airport Pick-up: We provide airport pick-up service for our guests with a surcharge of USD 10 (By a Car for 1-3 pax), and USD 20 (By Jeep/HIACE for 4-12 pax) from 6 AM to 10 PM but after 10 PM until before 6 AM additional USD 5 will be charged at the above price.
Airport Drop: USD 10 (By a Car 1-3 Pax), and USD (By Jeep/HIACE for 4-12 pax)
Noted: If the Guests are plans to take a taxi by themselves also fine but sometimes there are a few street hassles who try to hassle you by charging more price for the taxi and sometimes they try to hassle you by talking about tours and treks and try to take you to a different place, not to the hostel. So don't let anyone come with you in a taxi except the driver.
13: Luggage/Baggage Storage: We offer free secured storage for our guests for an unlimited day.
